I love your backgrounds and just added the penny rug to my blog. I just cannot figure out why there is white on both sides of the background. Have I done something wrong when I placed it on the blog?

Heidi, you are a genius! And a generous one! I'm such a know-nothing when it comes to computer stuff and for the longest time I wanted to jazz up my blog(s) but didn't have the foggiest clue... Then I found you thru another blog that uses one of your cute templates. I followed your instructions and successfully uploaded (down-loaded?) Penny Rug - and after having done so I realized that it's the same one used by "All My Scattering Moments". I've tried to change it to your "Rainbow" pattern, but alas, can't figure it out. Can you help? Even if you can't, thank you for your wonderful designs and generosity.
Oh, and a P.S. ... Do you know (of course you do!) how to place a favorite photo or image at the top of one's blog? One that uses your darling patterns? I apologize for being greedy with your time and expertise.
